Luv Ranjan’s sequel to 2011 hit Pyar Ka Punchnama has had an impressive opening at the Box Office as the film collected Rs 6.8 crore on it's first day. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and informed about the collections. He wrote, “#PyaarKaPunchnama2 takes a FLYING START. Fri Rs 6.80 cr [on 1400 screens]. India biz.”
And with that, PKP2 has even managed to surpass the first day collections of films like JAZBAA, PIKU, KATTI BATTI & BOMBAY VELVET. Given the fact that the film was made with a modest budget of just Rs 9 crore, already trade analysts are speculating that the film will break even over the weekend itself.
